What Election Results Show

 

In the graph below, you can see that Wisconsin voters since 2010 have been fairly evenly split between Democrats and Republicans.

But in the graphs below, notice that since 2010 the Legislature has been overwhelmingly Republican, regardless of the vote count.

This is due to the rigged maps that the Republicans drew after the Census in 2010 and 2020. For instance, in 2022, more voters statewide chose Democrats, but in the State Assembly and Senate, the Democrats actually lost seats, even though they won 3 of 5 statewide races.

Statewide races, as shown below, have been fairly evenly split between the two major parties, a much more accurate reflection of how purple Wisconsin really is. With new legislative maps in 2024, Wisconsin voters have the opportunity to elect a more representative and balanced state legislature that will be accountable to voters.
